CONWAY, S.C. (November 10, 2017) – Coach Phillip Gyau and the No. 5 Howard University Men's Soccer team advanced to the Sun Belt (SBC) Semifinals after a 1-0 decision over No. 4 Hartwick.
 
With the victory, HU (2-14-3) meets top-seeded Coastal Carolina (10-6-1) Saturday at 12:30 p.m.
 
At the 30-minute mark, senior Kyle Celestine scored on a rebound, assisted by fellow classmate Isaac Mbappe.
 
Defensively, Carlos Caro recorded a shutout while racking up six saves in the victory.
 
Howard looks to avenge its 2-1 overtime loss against the Chanticleers back on Nov. 1.
