WASHINGTON (October 2, 2017) – After splitting over the weekend, Howard Women's Volleyball prepares for a pair of weekly contests against George Washington (GW) and Morgan State (MSU).
HU hosts nearby GW in their nonconference finale. Tuesday's match is 7 p.m.
Wednesday, Howard hits the road to Baltimore to resume conference play at MSU. First serve at 7 p.m.

Friday, HU dropped its conference opener at Maryland Eastern Shore in a five-set thriller (27-29, 23-25, 25-13, 25-15, 11-15). Senior

Sunday, Howard picked up its first conference win of the season by sweeping the Delaware State Hornets (25-12, 25-11, 25-17). Donaldson led the way with a double-double, 11 kills and 11 digs.
MATCHUP PREVIEW
Tuesday night marks the first meeting in six years between GW and HU. George Washington leads the all-time series, 19-6.
GW (5-13) wraps up its current seven-match swing away from home with the first of three local road matches. Last timeout, the Colonials were bested in a pair of Atlantic 10 matches over the weekend, falling 3-1 in both matches at Rhode Island and Fordham.
Morgan State (2-13, 1-1 MEAC) comes in splitting over the weekend against Hampton and Norfolk State. After losing straight sets at Hampton, the Lady Bears pulled off a five-set win versus the Spartans.
HU (3-13, 1-1 MEAC) looks to build momentum after Sunday's victory against the Hornets. Donaldson, reigning MEAC Player of the Week, and Dockery guide the Bison attack. Offensively, the Illinois native has recorded 244 total kills on the season while Dockery leads the squad with 594 assists and 162 digs.
