LORETTO, Pa. – The Howard men's soccer team fell to Saint Francis University, 2-0, on Tuesday afternoon at Stokes Soccer Plex.
The Bison dropped to 1-9-3 on the season, while the Red Flash improved to 7-4.
Howard had four players with one shot each. Sophomore Gavin Boyer was the only player that made SFU's goalkeeper Marcus Rojas make a save.
The Red Flash outshot the Bison by a 27-4 margin. Redshirt senior Kenneth Hersey tallied 12 saves in his 13th start of the season.
SFU scored both of its goal in the second half, starting with a cross deflection into the top left of the net by Mario Mastrangelo. Francis de Vries followed up with the final goal in the 80th minute.
The Bison continue their road trip with a 7 p.m. matchup against Appalachian State on Saturday, Oct. 8.
