WASHINGTON, DC --- The Howard men's soccer team suffered its third shutout defeat of the season, falling 5-0 to the St. Francis Brooklyn Terriers on Sunday afternoon at Greene Stadium.
While Howard (0-7-1) held a 6-3 edge in corner kicks, the Bison were unable to truly challenge St. Francis (5-0-2) as HU took a season-low four shots in the contest. By comparison, the Terriers took 12 shots and nearly converted half - two in the first half and three in the second - into goals.
NEXT UPHoward will play the first of five straight away games beginning on Friday, September 25 when the Bison take on the Saint Joseph's University Hawks at 7:30 p.m. in Philadelphia.
