WASHINGTON, DC --- The 2015 Howard Women's Soccer season - and the 2015-16 Bison Athletics campaign - begins this evening when the reigning Southwestern Athletic Conference (SWAC) champions travel to Virginia to take on the Radford Highlanders in a non-conference matchup at 7 p.m.

FAST FIVE FACTS - HOWARD AT RADFORD

-    The contest will be the season opener for both Howard and Radford.
-    Last season, the two schools played to a 1-1 draw in DC on September 7 (Radford leads series 11-2-1).
-    Howard returns 14 players from last season's SWAC championship team and welcome nine newcomers to the program.
-    The Bison were picked to once again finsh atop the conference by the SWAC's coaches and sports information directors.
-    Senior Dytria Ruddy and junior Sara Vaughan were selected to the Preseason All-SWAC First Team.
