FULL RESULTSCOLLEGE PARK, MD --- The Howard men's and women's track and field teams competed in the Maryland University Terrapin Invitational this past weekend.
The men captured 6
th place and was led by Walter Peacock who placed in double events. Peacock placed 4
th in the 100 meter dash with a time of 11.30. He also placed 5
th in the long jump with an effort of 19 feet, 7 inches.
Jermain Boykins was 4
th in the 110 meter hurdles with a time of 15.75,
Milan Bullock was 6
th in the high jump with a 6 feet, 4 inches, and Giovanni Mowatt finished 6
th in the 800 meters with a time of 1:59.75.
The 4X100 relay team of
Kahe Kaye,
Basil Niccolls, William Spencer and
Robert Mercer placed 2
nd with a time of 42.85.
On the women's side,
Cheyenne Bellerand placed 5
th in the discus with a heave of 120 feet, 7 inches. The 4X100 relay team of
Tahirah Dickenson,
Michelle Cole,
Skylar Buchanan and
Seattle Ellison finished 3rd with a time of 47.42.
The teams will be travel to Gainesville, FL to compete in the Florida Relays on April 1.
