WASHINGTON, DC --- Howard women's volleyball notched its sixth consecutive win Friday evening with a 3-1 (25-18,25-14,21-25,25-18) victory over the University of Maryland Eastern Shore Hawks at home in Burr Gymnasium.
The triumph gave the Bison (11-13, 7-1 MEAC) its second conference series sweep of the season (along with Coppin State) and kept Howard in first place in the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) Northern Division.

- Set 3:12 ties and seven lead changes; Bison had set tied 18-18 but fell 25-21; posted only sideout percentage of match under 70% (16-25, 63%)
- Set 4: Finished match on 12-5 run after eight ties and two lead changes.
