Box Score WASHINGTON, DC --- A quartet of juniors led the way for the Howard Women's Volleyball team as the Lady Bison earned their third consecutive victory with a 3-0 sweep of fellow MEAC member North Carolina Central on Tuesday evening at Burr Gymnasium.

In the 27-25, 25-21, 25-10 rout of the Eagles, Assata Conway (12 kills) and Meagan Lagerlef (11) put down nearly half of the team's kills (23-of-50). Conway was especially accurate on the night, only committing one error and posting an attack percentage of .786. Stephanie Shultis continued her effectiveness at setter, serving up 38 assists, while Allyson Lods led HU with 12 digs.

With the win, Howard improves to 5-3 on the season, while NCCU falls to 0-9 on the year.

The Lady Bison will begin a seven-game road trip on Friday, September 13 as the team travels to University of Maryland Baltimore County for the UMBC Tournament (September 13-14).
