In 2022, Nadir Moumen joined the Howard University women's soccer program as an assistant coach.
During the 2024 season, Moumen helped the Bison to their first NEC (Northeast Conference) Regular Season and Tournament Titles with a 11-5-5 (8-1-1 NEC) mark. Howard reached the NCAA Tournament for the first time since 2018. Along the way, seven Bison received NEC Postseason honors, including five major awards: Brent Leiba (NEC Coach of the Year); Gabriella Garcia-Terrell (NEC Rookie of the Year); Samantha James (NEC Midfielder of the Year); Rachel Suttle (NEC Defensive Player of the Year) and Trinity Knox (NEC Goalkeeper of the Year).
In 2023, Howard rebounded after a 3-11-2 mark (2-6-1 NEC) during the 2022 campaign, finishing with a 12-6-2 record (6-3-1 NEC) while earning its first NEC Tournament berth. After the regular season, five Bison earned NEC Postseason honors, highlighted by Trinity Knox winning NEC Goalkeeper of the Year.
