Howard University Athletics

In 2022, Jaon Ahmad joined the Howard University women’s soccer program as an assistant coach.

During the 2024 season, Ahmad helped support the Bison to their first NEC (Northeast Conference) Regular Season and Tournament Championships and an appearance in the NCAA Tournament. His responsibilities include recruiting coordination, player evaluation, college pathway development and assisting with the overall growth and culture of the program.

Prior to Howard, Ahmad built an extensive background in player development, recruiting strategy and leadership within the ECNL and Girls Academy landscape. He has served and currently serves as an ECNL coach and College Recruiting Coordinator, helping guide prospective student-athletes and families through the evolving college recruiting process while building relationships with collegiate programs across all levels of the game.

Ahmad holds a USSF B License, is an ISPAS Accredited Performance Analyst, and also holds TOVO coaching certifications.
