Howard University Athletics

High School: Bland was named Offensive Player of the Year in back-to-back years (2019-20 and 2020-21) and was the Most Outstanding Player of the North Carolina High School Athletic Association State Championship Game in 2022. She made the All-Conference team four years in a row (2019-2023), along with All-District Third Team in 2019-20 and All-District Second
Team in 2022-23. During her senior season, Bland was named the Central Carolina 3A Player of the Year. Academically, Bland made the A honor roll from 2022 - 2023 and the A/B honor roll term from 2021 - 2022.

Personal: Majoring in Kinesiology at Howard… decided to attend Howard because of the culture and how known Howard University is for its academic programs… hobbies & interests include shopping, playing basketball & volleyball, shoe collecting and traveling… goals are to graduate
and to be able to start her own athletic training program to help college and professional athletes with rehabilitation… admires her mom because she is one of the strongest people she knows… favorite meal is shrimp and pasta… three individuals she would invite to dinner would be her sister, her aunt and her grandmother… favorite sports team is the Chicago Bulls…
favorite singer is Alicia Keys… reality show she would like to be on is The Kardashians.
