2022-23 [Sophomore]: Played in 11 games … Averaged 0.9 points, 1.1 rebounds, 0.2 blocks and 0.1 steals per game … Had a season-high three rebounds against Morgan State on Jan. 21 … Scored six points against Norfolk State on Jan. 14 … Had two blocked shots against Morgan State on Jan. 21.
2021-22 [Freshman]: Played in four games … Averaged 5.1 minutes … Scored only basket of the season against Loyola, Maryland on Dec. 1 … Had one rebound in each of the four games she played in … She helped Howard win 21 games, the MEAC tournament championship, and earn its first NCAA Tournament victory in program history with a win over Incarnate Word … The MEAC tournament championship was Howard’s 11th in program history and first since 2001.

Amirah Allen arrives at Howard after excelling as a two-sport student-athlete (basketball and track) at Wakefield H.S. in Raleigh, N.C.
She is a two-time conference champion on the court while earning a state championship in the 4x200 relay.
"Amirah is an athletic forward who can play inside and out," Grace stated on Allen. "She has a nice touch around the rim and can knock down the 16 to 17-foot shot. She will impact the game on both ends of the floor for us."
Academically, Allen has made the honor roll every year after accumulating a 4.1-grade point average and became a member of the English Honors Society during her junior year.
"She also plays with great energy, which I love to see," Grace continued. "She is a hard worker with a high ceiling. I'm excited to see her blossom into a tremendous player at Howard."
