In 2017, Jordan Brooks joined the Howard University Men's Basketball Coaching Staff as its assistant coach and recruiting coordinator.
Since his arrival, he has recruited multiple 3-star student-athletes at The Mecca, including Michael Barber and Savior Akuwovo. He also recruited U20 Russian National player Andre Toure from the prestigious St. Benedict's Prep in Newark, New Jersey.
Before Howard, Brooks coached and recruited at the 14U, 15U, and 16U grassroot levels while developing several NCAA Division I student-athletes from Top programs in the Washington DC area which include DC Assault, Team Takeover, Team Durant, and Team St8ment.
Brooks played his collegiate career at Hampton (2007-2011), including the first three season under former Howard Men's Basketball head coach Kevin Nickelberry.
In 2011, he earned his Bachelor of Science in Sport Management at Hampton. A year later (2012), Brooks received a MBA at Goldey-Beacom College, specializing in Marketing Management.
Brooks attended Charles Herbert Flowers High School (Springdale, Md.) where he earned All-MET and All-PG County First Team honors.
