In July, 2019, Aaron Kelton joined the Howard University football staff as Director of Football Operations.
Prior to becoming a Bison, Kelton spent the 2018 campaign at Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference rival Morgan State University where he served as the Co-Defensive Coordinator and Cornerbacks Coach.
Kelton is a veteran in the coaching business, having served as a Head Coach at both Shorter University in Rome Ga. and Williams College in Mass. Other professional experiences include being the Defensive Coordinator at Columbia University, Virginia State University, Concord University and Coaching at Clarion University and MIT.
Kelton has done four National Football League internships with Indianapolis Colts, Arizona Cardinals, Jacksonville Jaguars and the Miami Dolphins. He has also been a participant in NFL Coaching Symposium.
Kelton is a native of Boston. He and his wife, Charlotte, reside in Bowie, Md. where they have a daughter, Kelsi.
