In 2024, Richard Johnson returns to his alma mater as an offensive assistant.

During his playing days at The Mecca (2014-17), he was a defensive lineman with more than 130 total tackles in his collegiate career. In 2017, he was part of the biggest upset in college football history when the Bison defeated UNLV.
