Artavis Scott

In 2024, Howard University football team named Artavis Scott wide receiver coach where he brings experience, dedication and passion for the game.
 
Scott is a former American football wide receiver who has made significant contributions to the game both on and off the field. In 2014, Scott committed to Clemson University where he made an immediate impact as a true freshman. Throughout his collegiate career, he garnered numerous accolades, including being named a Freshman All-American and a three-time All-ACC Wide Receiver. Scott's leadership and playmaking abilities were instrumental in Clemson's success, contributing to three ACC Conference Championships and a CFP National Championship in 2016.
 
Following his collegiate career, Scott pursued his dream of playing professional football, signing with the Los Angeles Chargers as an undrafted free agent in the 2017 NFL Draft. Despite facing challenges along the way, Scott's determination and work ethic remained unwavering, allowing him to gain invaluable experience and insights into the highest level of the sport.
 
In March 2021, Scott transitioned to a coaching role at Clemson University, serving as an Offensive Graduate Assistant for the Wide Receivers. In this capacity, he played a vital role in the development of student-athletes, assisting with practice and game preparation, facilitating segment meetings and providing mentorship to wide receiver groups.
