Biography
2021-22: Played in 21 games and made 14 starts … Averaged 4.4 points, 2.3 rebounds, and 1.1 steals per game … Scored a season-high nine points in consecutive games against Elon on Nov. 15 and Saint Peter’s on Nov. 21 … Also tallied nine points and a season-best six rebounds against UMES on Jan. 17 … Had eight points against North Carolina Central on Jan. 29 … Had three steals each against Elon and North Carolina Central … Had one blocked shot in each of Howard’s NCAA Tournament games against Incarnate Word and South Carolina … Also finished with two rebounds in eight minutes against South Carolina … She helped Howard win 21 games, the MEAC tournament championship, and earn its first NCAA Tournament victory in program history with a win over Incarnate Word … The MEAC tournament championship was Howard’s 11th in program history and first since 2001.
2020-21: Named to the 2021 Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) Commissioner's All-Academic Team ... only took part in four games last season due to injury.
2019-20: Took part in 27 contests while starting the final 13 games ... shot a respectable 42-percent (74-of-177) from the floor ... reached double-figures in scoring 12 times ... made her first collegiate versus Florida A&M (Jan. 25), producing 11 points and six steals (season-high) in the victory ... registered 18 points and eight rebounds in the road win at Coppin State (Feb. 3) ... had a season-best 20 points on 6-of-12 shooting in the home victory over Florida A&M (Feb. 8).
2018-19: Played 28 games in a reserve role … recorded a season-high 11 points and six boards at Florida International (Dec. 15) … registered nine rebounds, six points and six assists in the road win at Savannah State (March 2).
High School: In her senior year, she led her team, Winchester Thurston, to their second consecutive championship with 36 points, 5 assists, 10 steals and 14 rebounds.
Personal: Major is Psychology … first person in her family to attend Howard University … decided to attend Howard University because of its HBCU culture … goal is earning a Ph.D … she admire Lebron James because she believes he is the greatest player of all-time … favorite food is chicken … if she could invite three people to dinner, they would be: Beyoncé; Lebron James and Drake … favorite professional sports team is the Pittsburgh Steelers … favorite musical artist is Drake.
