NORFOLK, Va. (September 8, 2026) – The MEAC (Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference) revealed its football weekly awards where Howard University sophomore punter Liam Allen IV (Sanford, Fla.) claimed the league's Specialist of the Week. The announcement came Monday.
 
The Florida native came through with a strong performance versus No. 23 Richmond, placing four punts inside the 20-yard line.
 
This season, Allen is averaging 37.2 yards per punt with four punts inside the 20.
 
South Carolina State's Mason Pickett-Hicks and Jordan Dollard were selected MEAC Offensive and Defensive Player of the Week, respectively, while fellow Bulldog James Reddick II earned Offensive Lineman of the Week.
 
Howard travels to Bloomington, Ind., to take on Indiana Saturday (Sept. 12) at noon.
