HU (1-4) secured its first win of the season, knocking off Radford in its home opener Saturday (Sept. 12).
Howard has scored three goals in the past two games, led by junior forward
Daniil Kaban (Kharkiv, Ukraine) with a pair of goals.

Liam Keiller (Gaithersburg, Md.) notched his first shutout win of the year against Radford while producing three saves.
Entering the year, Howard was picked seventh in the NEC Preseason Poll.

After opening the 2026 campaign 2-0, UMBC (2-2-1) has gone winless in its last three outings (0-2-1), including a 5-1 setback at No. 22 Old Dominion Friday (Sept. 11).
Abdul Kamara leads the Retrievers with six points (three goals), followed by Flynn Holdem (four points) and Nico Banks (three points).
Goalie Joe Pollard has started four contests, tallying 10 saves.
Before the season, UMBC has projected to finish fifth in the America East Preseason Poll. A year ago, the Retrievers went 6-6-5 overall.
LAST TIMEOUT
On Sept. 12, HU earned its first victory of the 2026 season Saturday, defeating Radford, 1-0, at Greene Stadium.
Howard broke through just 2:22 into the second half when Kaban stepped to the penalty box and converted the opportunity at the 47:22 mark, giving the Bison a 1-0 win.
