WASHINGTON (July 27, 2026) – Howard University women's soccer graduates
Rachel Asare and
Zoe Moore continue their playing careers across the pond in England this fall as part of the Play Overseas program. This new chapter gives both athletes an opportunity to resume their soccer careers while pursuing a postgraduate degree.
Following significant interest from universities across the UK (United Kingdom), Asare and Moore will remain teammates after committing to one of the UK's most ambitious women's soccer institutions. They will spend the next 12 months pursuing master's degrees while playing another season of collegiate soccer. The move presents a unique opportunity to continue competing at a high level, pursue a national championship and experience life overseas together.
Collectively, the Bison duo combined for nearly 120 appearances at Howard while leading the program to its first NEC Championship (2024). Academically, they made the NEC Fall Academic Honor Roll.
Over recent years, the UK has become a popular destination for former student-athletes as different eligibility rules permit students to compete alongside their graduate education.
