GREENWOOD, Ind. (June 17, 2025) – The College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-America Committee revealed its 2025-26 NCAA Men's & Women's At-Large All-District Team where the Howard University golf teams saw four Bison acknowledged for their hard work inside the classroom. The announcement came Tuesday.
On the men's side, two-time NEC Champion
Mathis Perroni (Metz, France) was recognized for their efforts off the green.
Perroni earned All-NEC First Team after competing in 11 tournaments during the 2025-26 campaign. Academically, the Frenchman is studying economics with a 3.67 grade point average (GPA).
For the women,
Paris Fieldings (Chesapeake, Va.),
Marley Franklin (Los Angeles) and
Morgan Horrell (Dallas) won the program's first NEC title.
Fieldings made the All-NEC First Team after averaging 74.5 strokes per round. Off the green, she majors in media, journalism & film (MJF) with a 3.56 GPA.
Franklin won NEC Golfer of the Year, becoming the second Bison in school history to claim the honor, joining Fieldings. The Los Angeles native is also a MJF major, holding a 3.76 GPA.
Horrell earned a spot on the All-NEC First Team, posting a 75.0 average per round. The Dallas product has accumulated an impressive 3.97 GPA, studying marketing.
The 2025-26 Academic All-District® Men's & Women's At-Large teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the green and in the classroom. The CSC Academic All-America® program separately recognizes at-large honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA.
Academic All-District® honorees were considered for advancement to the CSC Academic All-America® ballot.
