WASHINGTON (May 12, 2026) – Howard University (HU) will hold its Bi-Annual Athletic Alumni Hall of Fame Induction ceremony Friday, October 16 at 7 p.m., at Martin's Crosswinds (7400 Greenway Center Drive, Greenbelt, Maryland 20770).
Twenty-three former athletes, one administrator, seven teams and seven Buffalo Soldier Award recipients will be inducted based on contributions to the HU athletics program. This event is sponsored by the Howard University Bison Express Athletic Alumni Organization (
www.bisonexpress.org).
"It is fascinating the number of world-class athletes we have across the 21 varsity sports" said Howard Bison Express President
Bruce Williams. "They are all outstanding citizens in their respective communities and continue to represent Howard University in a positive manner. I would like to thank the Hall of Fame committee for their hard work in acknowledging this year's class."
