WASHINGTON (March 2, 2026) – Howard University men's basketball team is looking to extend its current win streak to five when it hosts Coppin State (CSU) in the home regular season finale Monday (March 2). Tipoff is scheduled for 7 p.m., inside Burr Gymnasium.

Coppin State is coached by Larry Stewart (Coppin State, '06), who is in his third year at the helm. Howard is led by

THE SERIES
Earlier this year (Feb. 2, 2026), Howard (19-10, 9-3 MEAC) defeated the Eagles, 72-53, in Baltimore. In that game, junior guard
Cedric Taylor III (Atlanta) led the way with 21 points and nine rebounds. For CSU, DeMariontay Hall posted 12 points and seven boards in the loss.
Howard has won six-of-the-last-seven matchups in the series, but the Eagles lead the series, 48-31, dating back to 1986.
