NORFOLK, Va. (February 23, 2026) – The Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) revealed its women's basketball weekly awards where Howard University senior forward
Nile Miller (Woodbury, N.J.) took home the league's Player of the Week. The announcement came Monday afternoon.
In Saturday's (Feb. 21) victory over North Carolina Central (NCCU), Miller notched her third double-double of the season with 15 points and 12 rebounds while recording four steals, three assists and a block.
This season, Miller tops the MEAC in field goal percentage at 47-percent.
Freshman standout
Ariella Henigan (Chicago) received honorable mention after tallying eight points, four steals, three rebounds and three assists in a 66-58 win over NCCU.
Maryland Eastern Shore forward Kaliya Perry was named MEAC Rookie of the Week while Morgan State's Michaela Bogans earned Defensive Player of the Week.
Howard closes out the home slate Thursday (Feb. 26), taking on Coppin State. Tipoff is schedule for 6 p.m.
