Harris, Men’s Basketball Receive HBCU All-Stars Weekly Recognition

Harris and the Bison recognized for a perfect 2-0 week in MEAC play

INDIANAPOLIS (February 11, 2026) – HBCU All-Stars uncovered its men's basketball weekly accolades where Howard University took home a pair of honors. The announcement came Wednesday morning.
 
Graduate guard Bryce Harris (Brentwood, N.Y.) received HBCU All-Stars NCAA Division I MEAC Player of the Week while the squad earned NCAA Division I MEAC Team of the Week. This week's honorees included games from February 1 through Feb. 7.
 
Harris averaged 18.5 points, 5.5 rebounds, 1.0 blocks in the MEAC (Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference) victories over Coppin State (Feb. 2) and South Carolina State (Feb. 7).

Currently, Harris leads the MEAC in scoring (17.3 ppg) and rebounding (6.8 rpg).
 
Overall, HU went 2-0 in the road victories at Coppin State, 72-53, and South Carolina State, 85-57.
 
Defensively, HU leads the league in points allowed (69.0 ppg), which ranks 66th in the country, and opponent field goal percentage (42-percent).
 
HBCU All-Stars LLC features the nation's top HBCU student-athletes from the MEAC, SWAC (Southeastern Athletic Conference), CIAA (Central Intercollegiate Athletic Association) and SIAC (Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference), along with Hampton, North Carolina A&T State and Tennessee State.
 
The 2026 HBCU All-Star Game, a college basketball showcase highlighting 24 of the best HBCU players in the country, will be held in Indianapolis at Corteva Coliseum on the Indiana State Fairgrounds (Sunday, April 5, 2026) and will air live on national television and streaming networks.
 
Howard returns to MEAC action Saturday (Feb. 14) when it will host Maryland Eastern Shore at 4:30 p.m., inside Burr Gymnasium.
