Howard is led by Kenneth Blakeney (Duke, '95), who is in his seventh season. NCCU is coached by Levelle Moton (NCCU, '96), who is in his 17^th year and the winningest coach in school history.

The Eagles defeated Morgan State, 89-78, Monday (Jan. 12) for their third straight win. Senior forward Khouri Carvey led the attack with 21 points on 8-of-10 shooting and eight rebounds.
