WASHINGTON (September 5, 2025) – The Howard University women's volleyball team is set to play against Harvard University, Presbyterian College (PC) and the University of North Florida (UNF) at the UNF Invitational in Jacksonville, hosted by the Ospreys.
Friday (September 5), the Bison face Harvard at 4 p.m. Then, they take on Presbyterian Saturday (September 6) at 2 p.m. Sunday (September 7), HU faces North Florida at 2 p.m.

HOWARD
HU (1-2) looks to build the momentum after losing two-out-of-three opening weekend.
Senior outside hitter
Rya McKinnon (Hoover, Ala.), MEAC (Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference) Preseason Player of the Year, leads the Bison with 15.7 kills per match during opening weekend.
HARVARD
Harvard (0-0) starts the season at the UNF Invitational. Entering the season, they are ranked sixth in the 2025 Ivy League Preseason Poll.
Last season, senior outside hitter Brynne Faltinsky (Rancho Santa Fe, Calif.) had 274 kills and was ranked fourth in the Ivy League (3.51 kills per set).
PRESBYTERIAN
Presbyterian (1-2) comes in losing two-out-of-three during the Georgia State Invitational.
Junior setter Anisa Dorlouis (Gainesville, Fla.) had 31 assists and 21 digs in the match against Furman University this past weekend.
NORTH FLORIDA
North Florida (1-2) dropped two-out-of-three in the North Florida Sunshine tournament.
Freshman setter Sofia Dawson (Atlanta) leads her team with 8.5 assists per set and adds over 2.0 digs per set from this past weekend.
LAST TIMEOUT
In their previous opening weekend matches, the Bison got the job done against George Washington University, 3-2 (August 29), but fell, 1-3, to George Mason University the following day (August 30). Sunday (August 31), the Bison lost, 0-3, to the University of Virginia.
