WASHINGTON (September 25, 2025) – The Howard University women's volleyball team hosts two conference matchups inside The Burr, starting with Coppin State University (CSU) Friday (Sept. 26) at 6 p.m. for Black Out Night, followed by a Sunday (Sept. 28) contest at 1p.m., against Morgan State.

MATCHUP PREVIEWS
HOWARD
HU (6-4) is looking to regain momentum after falling short to UMBC Saturday (Sept. 20), 3-2.
Monday (Sept. 22), seniors
Rya McKinnon (Hoover, Ala.) and
Leah Reeves (Allen, Texas) took home MEAC's (Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference) Player of the Week and Setter of the Week, respectively. McKinnon tallied 33 kills, 17 digs, four blocks and registered her 10
th double-double of the season against the Retrievers. Reeves had 79 assists, 12 digs, five blocks, four kills and secured her second double-double of the season at UMBC.
As of Sept. 22, Howard still tops the nation in aces per set (2.55).
COPPIN STATE
Coppin State (6-9) is looking to bounce back after losing to Seton Hall (Sept. 20).
Freshman setter Andrea Cintron notched her first career double-double with 17 assists and 11 digs while adding two aces and two kills in the match.
MORGAN STATE
Morgan State (3-7) is looking to make a comeback after losing to Saint Peter's (Sept. 19).
Junior outside hitter Hannah Nemeth paced Morgan State with a team-high 15 kills in the Bears four-set road match this past weekend.
LAST TIMEOUT
Thursday (Sept. 18), Howard began the weekend with a sweep versus High Point, 3-0. Saturday (Sept. 20), the Bison fell in a hard-fought five-set battle at UMBC.
UPCOMING SCHEDULE
Howard is set to play another pair of conference matchups. Friday (Oct. 3), the Bison play Delaware State at 6 p.m., in Dover, Del. Sunday (Oct. 5), HU battles Maryland Eastern Shore at 1 p.m., inside The Burr.
