WASHINGTON, D.C. — The Howard University women's basketball team has released its 2025-2026 schedule, showcasing classic HBCU rivalries, multiple Power 4 matchups against nationally-ranked Big 10, SEC and ACC opponents, and the new Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) gameday format featuring Thursday single games and traditional doubleheaders with the men's team. The announcement came Monday morning.
The Bison return to the court following a historic postseason in which they earned the program's first-ever home postseason victory — a 72–62 WNIT First Round win over Siena College — and now set their sights on a strong campaign to reclaim the MEAC championship.
"I'm excited about the upcoming schedule. Each year presents a different challenge, and this season won't be an exception," said Head Coach Ty Grace. "We'll play a significant amount of road games in the non-conference, which will truly test our resiliency and grit. With a new roster, there may be hurdles, but we have a talented group that is hungry and ready to take up the gauntlet. We will be poised and prepared — and I look forward to watching them pursue a MEAC Championship."
