Sunday's showdown will be the fourth meeting between Howard and Richmond since 1996. The Spiders won all three previous matchups.

HU rolls into Sunday's match with a 2-2 overall record, including Thursday's (Aug. 28) road victory at American, 2-1.
Graduate defender
Rachel Suttle (Smyrna, Ga.) and sophomore
Gabriella Garcia-Terrell (Centreville, Va.) lead the Bison attack with two goals apiece.
Junior
Trinity Knox (Atlanta), two-time NEC Goalkeeper of the Year, has accumulated 18 saves in four starts this season.
RICHMOND
Richmond enters the weekend with a 3-1-1 mark, including Thursday's (Aug. 28) tie versus in-state rival Radford, 1-1.
Emma Newman leads the Spiders with 10 points (four goals & two assists), followed by Brigitte Bussiere with three points (one goal & one assist).
Goalie Veronica Rrapi has started all five contests, producing 25 saves and three shutouts.
LAST TIMEOUT
Thursday (Aug. 28), Howard got back in the win column, holding off crosstown rival American, 2-1.
Suttle, the 2024 NEC Defensive Player of the Year, and junior midfielder
