BRIDGEWATER, N.J. (May 19, 2025) – The Northeast Conference (NEC) revealed its 2024-25 Winter Academic Honors where Howard University Swimming & Diving saw 35 Bison acknowledged for their academic excellence. The announcement came Monday.
All 35 Bison made the NEC Academic Honor Roll after earning a 3.2 grade point average (GPA) during the 2024-25 campaign.

Furthermore, 11 Bison were named to the NEC Commissioner's Honor Roll after recording a 3.75 GPA during the 2024-25 academic year: Aina; Bashir; Debnam; Hall; Harrell; B. Johnson; Josey; Nwaeze; Peoples-Hobson; Vickles and Young.
Overall, the league acknowledged 702 student-athletes with 262 making the Commissioner's Honor Roll.
