Bowie State is coached by Darrell Brooks (Bowie State, 7'9), who is in his 16
th season at the helm. Howard is led by
Kenneth Blakeney (Duke, '95), who is in his seventh season.
SERIES RECORD
Bowie State defeated the Bison, 76-73, last year inside The Burr in the first and only meeting between the two institutions. Warren Mougada nailed a three pointer with two seconds to win the game for the Bulldogs.

Bowie State trailed, 50-36, against Shippensburg State at halftime and rallied but fell short in an 88-79 home loss Wednesday (Dec. 3).
The Bulldogs got a game-high 29 from Jaiden McGhee and 21 points from KJ West. The duo combined to connect of 19-of-31 from the field, but the remainder of the team combined for 11-of-33.
HOWARD
On Nov. 29, HU placed five Bison in double figures and rebounded from a double-digit deficit but came up just short, 79-75, at Mount St. Mary's in a nonconference battle inside Knott Arena.
Guard
Alex Cotton (Carrollton, Texas) led Howard with 15 points, but the junior sharpshooter had his worst shooting performance on the season, connecting on only 5-of-15, including 3-of-11 from his specialty area.
