Women’s Hoops Welcomes Fairfield for Education Day

Bison take on Stags in a nonconference showdown inside The Burr

WASHINGTON (December 4, 2025) – Howard University women's basketball team returns to The Burr Friday (Dec. 5), welcoming the Fairfield Stags for Education Day. Tipoff is slated for noon, live on ESPN+.

Sunday (Nov. 30), Fairfield dropped an 86-72 decision at No. 11 Iowa. The Stags were led by reserve Christina Pham (14 points) off the bench and Meghan Anderson and Kaety L'Amoreaux with 13 points and 12 points, respectively.
  
HOWARD
 
On Nov. 30, senior forward Zennia Thomas (Cleveland) poured in a game-high 24 points and redshirt junior guard Zoe Stewart (Terre Haute, Ind.) came off the bench to add 11 points but no other player reached double figure as the Bison dropped a 78-62 decision at Syracuse inside the JNA Wireless Dome.

Fairfield is coached by Carly Thibault-DuDonis (Monmouth, '13), who is in her fourth season. Howard is led by Ty Grace (New Haven, '99), who is in her 11th season and is the second winningest coach in school history.
