BOSTON (December 23, 2025) – CollegeInsider.com revealed its Women's Mid-Major Top 25 poll where Howard University jumped seven slots after making the list for the seventh straight week. The announcement came Tuesday evening.
This week, HU (10-5) landed 13
th in the poll after a perfect 2-0 week. After a big road win at Cincinnati (Dec. 16), 66-64, Howard returned to The Mecca where they topped St. Bonaventure (Dec. 20), 76-64.
Monday (Dec. 22), the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) revealed its weekly honors where senior forward
Zennia Thomas (Cleveland) won MEAC Player of the Week while freshman standout
Ariella Henigan (Chicago) collected the league's Rookie of the Week, respectively.
Princeton (11-1) remains No. 1 for a fourth consecutive week, receiving all 31 first-place votes, while South Dakota State (9-4) remains at No. 2.
Marshall (11-3), Pepperdine (9-3) and UC Irvine (11-2) make their season debut in the latest Women's Mid-Major Top 25®.
The Women's Mid-Major Top 25® is released every Tuesday throughout the season.
