BOSTON (December 2, 2025) – CollegeInsider.com (CI) uncovered its Women's Mid-Major Top 25 where the Howard University women's basketball team secured a spot for the fourth straight week. The announcement came Tuesday evening.
This week, HU sits 19
th in the poll despite a tough 0-2 mark. Howard dropped a pair of road matchups at Power 4 opponents Purdue (Nov. 26) and Syracuse (Nov. 30).
For the first time in nearly a year, there is a new No. 1. Princeton (7-1) moved up to the top slot, replacing South Dakota State (5-2), which held down the top spot for 15 weeks, dating back to Jan. 14, 2024. It is the first time Princeton has been No 1. since Nov. 28, 2023.
The Women's Mid-Major Top 25® is released every Tuesday throughout the season.
