WASHINGTON (November 8, 2025) – Howard University men's basketball team continues its homestand Sunday (Nov. 9), hosting Grambling State (GSU) in an HBCU showdown at Burr Gymnasium. Tipoff is slated for 6 p.m., live on ESPN+.

Grambling State is coached by Patrick Crarey (La Sierra, '07), who is in his first season there after a successful stint at Florida A&M. Howard is led by Kenneth Blakeney (Duke, '95), who is in his sixth season. Crarey and Blakeney are both D.C. natives.

Grambling State suffered a 102-62 loss to No. 16 Iowa State at Hilton Coliseum Thursday night (Nov. 6). GSU freshman forward Antonio Munoz had a strong performance for the G-Men.

Thursday (Nov. 6), Bryce Harris (Brentwood, N.Y.) scored a game-high 20 points to lead four players in double figures as the Bison rolled to a 103-71 win over the University of the District of Columbia (UDC) in a nonconference matchup at Burr Gymnasium.
