Harris Leads Men’s Hoops to Win Over St. Mary's

Bison dominate Seahawks inside The Burr

WASHINGTON (November 26, 2025) – Graduate guard Bryce Harris (Brentwood, N.Y.) poured in a career-high 36 points to lead the Howard University men's basketball team to a 115-61 win over St. Mary's College (Md.) in a nonconference showdown at Burr Gymnasium.
 
Harris, the leading candidate for MEAC (Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference) Player of the Year, was virtually unstoppable. The 6-foot-4 graduate guard was 13-of-17 from the floor, including 3-for-4 from the three, along with seven rebounds, three assists and three steals.
 
The game never was in doubt for the Bison (4-4), who jumped out to a 24-0 blitz to start the game and never looked back in reaching the highest point total of the season.
 
Howard led, 63-37, at the half.
 
For the game, the Bison a season-best 62-percent (43-of-69) and recorded 25 assists on 43 baskets.
 
Sophomore forward Travelle Bryson (Anderson, S.C.) came off the bench to score 14 points, along with freshman center Danas Kazakevicius (14 points & 8 rebounds) and junior guard Alex Cotton (Carrollton, Texas) and senior guard Ose Okojie (Brampton, Canada), who each contributed 10 points in the victory.
 
The Seahawks were led James Crimaudo with 17 points as no other player reached double figures.
 
NEXT UP: Howard travels to Emmittsburg, Md., taking on Mount St. Mary's Saturday (Nov. 29) at 4 p.m.  The game will be carries on ESPN+.
