GAME NOTES

HOWARD

The Bison played without the services of junior guard Alex Cotton (Carrollton, Texas) and freshman center Danas Kazakevicius (Vilnius, Lithuania), who were both out with illnesses, and their statuses for Wednesday's clash is unknown…Howard has played without starting junior guard Cedric Taylor III (Atlanta), who has been out all season with a wrist injury…The absence of key starters has allowed for the development of sophomore guards Travelle Bryson (Anderson, S.C.) and Isaiah Brown (Ramsey, N.J.), redshirt senior guard Ed Holland III (Philadelphia) and senior guard Ose Okojie (Brampton, Canada), who are all beginning to make contributions.

STETSON

Stetson is allowing 87 points per game (ppg) and only shooting 58 percent from the free-throw line…The Hatters have also given up 20.0 ppg off turnovers in their first four contests.

NEXT UP

Howard travels to Durham, N.C., to compete in the inaugural Brotherhood Run, hosted by Duke. HU takes on Niagara Saturday (Nov. 22) at 4 p.m. The next day (Nov. 23), the Bison face No. 4 Duke.

It is a Duke Reunion as Coach Blakeney and associate head coach Nate James are former players and coaches.
