NORFOLK, Va. (November 17, 2025) – The Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) unveiled its men's basketball weekly honors where Howard University graduate guard
Bryce Harris (Brentwood, N.Y.) claimed the league's Defensive Player of the Week. The announcement came Monday afternoon.
Harris finished one rebound shy of a double-double (24 points and nine boards) in the win over Alcorn State (Nov. 13). Defensively, the New York product posted two blocks and a steal against the Braves.
Currently, Harris tops the conference in three-point shooting percentage at 57-percent, which ranks 32
nd in the nation.
Sophomore forward
Travelle Bryson (Anderson, S.C.) received honorable mention after registering 12 points, six boards and two blocks in the victory over Alcorn State.
North Carolina Central guard Gage Lattimore was named MEAC Player of the Week while Norfolk State guard My'kel Jenkins was selected as Rookie of the Week.
Howard travels to Deland, Fla., to take on Stetson Wednesday (Nov. 19) at 7 p.m.
