NORFOLK, Va. (November 15, 2025) – The Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) revealed its bracket seedings for the 2025 Volleyball Tournament Saturday evening where Howard University secured the No. 2 spot.
 
HU wrapped up the regular season with a 16-10 mark (10-4 MEAC) while topping the league in several categories, including total service aces (214), which ranks sixth in the nation.
 
Howard opens the tourney Thursday (Nov. 20) against No. 7 Norfolk State (NSU). First serve is set for 5 p.m., inside PEC Arena in Baltimore. HU swept NSU during the regular season.
 
Coppin State secured the No. 1 seed (20-11, 13-1 MEAC) and will take on No. 8 South Carolina State (5-20, 1-13 MEAC) in the opening round.
 
Morgan State claimed the No. 3 seed (11-13, 8-6 MEAC) and will face No. 6 Maryland Eastern Shore (10-17, 7-7 MEAC) in Thursday's nightcap.
 
Reigning MEAC Tournament Champion Delaware State (11-17, 7-7 MEAC) grabbed the No. 4 spot and will square off against No. 5 North Carolina Central (10-17, 7-7 MEAC) in the MEAC First Round opener.
 
Semifinal matches are scheduled for Friday (Nov.21) at 5 p.m. and 8 p.m., with the championship match set for Saturday (Nov. 22) at 5 p.m.
 
All matches will stream live on ESPN+ and tickets will be available online and on-site at the Physical Education Complex (PEC) on the campus of Coppin State University. Weekend passes are $25 and single-day admission is $10.
