WASHINGTON (November 12, 2025) – The Howard University women's volleyball team concludes the regular season with a pair of roach matchups. Wednesday (Nov. 12), the Bison take on Temple at 6 p.m., in Philadelphia. Two nights later (Nov. 14), they face Norfolk State in Norfolk, Va., at 6 p.m.

HOWARD
HU (15-9, 9-4 MEAC) is looking to maintain momentum, riding a four-match win streak into Wednesday's nonconference contest.
Monday (Nov. 10), senior
Leah Reeves (Allen, Texas) won MEAC (Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference) Setter of the Week, totaling 89 assists, 17 digs and four aces. Fellow classmate
Claire Simpson (Plainfield, Ill.) won Defensive Player of the Week, recording a career-high 35 digs in the win over South Carolina State (Nov. 9).
TEMPLE
Temple (15-13) is looking to get back on track after losing to North Texas (Nov. 9).
Sophomore Christiana Greene led the Owls with her third double-double of the season with 20 kills and 11 digs.
NORFOLK STATE
Norfolk State (5-22, 3-10 MEAC) aims to stay hot, following a win against North Carolina Central (Nov. 9).
Junior outside hitter Gabrielle Gilbert had a dominant all-around performance, finishing with a team-high 19 kills and completing a double-double with 10 digs.
LAST TIMEOUT
Friday (Nov. 7), the Bison swept North Carolina Central, 3-0. Then, they carried that momentum into Sunday (Nov. 9), defeating South Carolina State, 3-1, inside The Burr.
UPCOMING SCHEDULE
The Bison head to Baltimore to compete in the MEAC Tournament (Nov. 20-22).
