MATCHUP PREVIEW

HOWARD (8-5-3, 6-1-2 NEC)

Howard enters Thursday's matchup riding the momentum of a 1–0 win over LIU Sunday (Oct. 26).

Junior Asia Mickens-Perez (Upper Marlboro, Md.) scored the game-winner in the 87th minute to lift the Bison to their third win in the last four matches.

Mickens-Perez and graduate Rachel Suttle (Smyrna, Ga.) remain key threats in the attack while sophomore Gabriella Garcia-Terrell (Centreville, Va.) has provided consistent chances on the wing.

Junior Trinity Knox (Atlanta) earned her fourth clean sheet of the year with four saves, anchoring a back line that held strong under late pressure.

The Bison continue to climb the NEC standings and have not allowed a goal at home in over 180 minutes of play.

With postseason implications in play, Howard will look to continue its sharp form in front of the home crowd.

SAINT FRANCIS (2-10-1, 1-6-1 NEC)

Saint Francis makes the trip to D.C., following a 2–1 loss at Chicago State. The Red Flash conceded twice early but battled back with a second-half goal from freshman Angelina Kasak—her first career tally.

Maridza Desir returned to the field last weekend for the first time since August and expected to provide an energy boost off the bench. The Red Flash continue to search for consistency in both boxes and will be challenged by a Howard team that has outscored opponents 5–1 over the last three home contests.

LAST TIMEOUT

Howard earned a 1–0 victory over LIU at home with Mickens-Perez delivering the game-winner in the final minutes. Knox recorded four saves and the Bison outshot LIU, 10–7, overall.

UPCOMING SCHEDULE

Howard closes the regular season on the road Sunday (Nov. 2) at FDU. Kickoff is set for noon in Teaneck, N.J., with streaming available on NEC Front Row.
