BRIDGEWATER, N.J. (October 20, 2025) – The NEC uncovered its women's soccer weekly accolades where Howard University junior goalie
Trinity Knox (Atlanta) took home the league's Defensive Player of the Week. The announcement came Monday afternoon.
Knox tallied 11 saves in two matchups against New Haven (Oct. 16) and Chicago State (Oct. 19). In Thursday's win over the Chargers, she racked up four stops while recording a shutout.
The two-time NEC Goalkeeper of the Year tops the conference in shutouts (three) and save percentage (.826).
The Atlanta product was also selected to the NEC Prime Performers list for the third time this season.
Stonehill's Hannah Anselmo and Dani Lomuscio grabbed NEC Player of the Week and Rookie of the Week, respectively.
Sunday (Oct. 26), HU hosts LIU for Alumni Day. Kickoff is slated for 1 p.m., at Greene Stadium.
