BRIDGEWATER, N.J. (October 20, 2025) – The NEC revealed its men's soccer weekly awards where Howard University saw a pair of Bison acknowledged for their efforts in the victories over Chicago State (Oct. 16) and Saint Francis (Oct. 19). The announcement came Monday afternoon.
Second-year Bison
Zach Simmons (Rockwall, Texas) claimed NEC Co-Player of the Week while redshirt freshman
Naim Robinson (Detroit) took home his second Rookie of the Week award this season.
Simmons tallied four points in the two wins with a pair of assists against Chicago State (CSU) and the game-winning goal versus Saint Francis (SFU).
Robinson posted three points (one goal & one assist) against CSU while adding a helper in the big victory over SFU.
Redshirt sophomore goalie
Liam Keiller (Gaithersburg, Md.) joined Robinson and Simmons on the NEC Prime Performers list.
FDU's Arnau Rabassa Guillamon shared NEC Player of the Week with Simmons.
Sunday (Oct. 26), the Bison travel to Brooklyn, N.Y., to face reigning NEC Tournament Champion LIU. Match time is slated for 1 p.m.
