NORFOLK, Va. (October 20, 2025) – The Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) unveiled its football weekly accolades where Howard University saw three Bison acknowledged for their performances at Tennessee State (TSU). The announcement came Monday afternoon.
Senior
Judah McJimpsey (Spartanburg, S.C.) won MEAC Defensive Player of the Week while freshmen
Ben Chandler (Washington) and
Liam Allen IV (Lake Mary, Fla.) took home Rookie of the Week and Specialist of the Week, respectively.
McJimpsey led the Bison defense with seven total tackles (three solos), including 1.5 tackles for loss, along with a quarterback hurry in the matchup at Tennessee State (Oct. 18).
Chandler contributed five total tackles (four solos) in the contest against TSU.
Allen averaged 43.5 yards on six punts with three punts of 50 yards or more and one downed inside the 20-yard line.
Howard finally gets to play in Greene Stadium when it hosts Morgan State for homecoming and the MEAC opener Saturday (Oct. 25) at 3:30 p.m.
