TOWSON, Md. (January 15, 2025) – Howard University women's swimming & diving squad fell on the road at Towson, 174-67.
Despite the loss, HU secured three wins in the midweek dual.
Junior
Zuilda Nwaeze led the charge with a pair of victories in the 100 Free (51.32) and 200 Free (1:53.56).

Samyra Benoit (Santa Clarita, Calif.) and sophomore
Chanice Posada (Houston) came away victorious in the 400 Medley Relay, clocking in at 3:52.29.
Individually, Thompson placed third overall in the 200 IM, recording a 2:10.82 mark.
Other noteworthy individual performances included rookie
Gabrielle Vickles (El Dorado, Trinidad & Tobago) earning silver in the 50 Free (24.86) and third-year Bison
Kali Garcia claiming bronze in the 500 Free (5:28.18).
Saturday (Jan. 18), HU gears up for a quad meet in Lexington, Va., hosted by VMI. First race starts at 1 p.m.
