WASHINGTON (September 28, 2024) – Howard University men's soccer team concludes its three-match homestand Sunday (Sept. 29), hosting Central Connecticut State (CCSU) in its conference opener. Kickoff is set for 3 p.m., for Kids Day at Greene Stadium.

HOWARD
Howard (0-4-2) seeks its first win of the season after another tie, 1-1, against George Washington Tuesday (Sept. 24).
HU outshot the Revolutionaries, 14-11, utilizing four shots on goal.
Mason Christian (Fulton, Md.) put HU on the board with his third goal of the season while
Liam Keiller (Gaithersburg, Md) notched six saves while facing 11 shots.

CENTRAL CONNECTICUT STATE
The Blue Devils lost their match against Binghampton, 2-1. CCSU had the game tied as they entered halftime, but the Bearcats scored early in the 10-minute mark after intermission.

LAST TIMEOUT
Tuesday (Sept. 24), the Bison ended their match in a tie, 1-1, versus Goerge Washington. The rainy weather conditions added to the physicality of the game, seeing 18 fouls and four yellow cards across 90 minutes.
UPCOMING SCHEDULE
On Oct. 2, Howard is on the road at No. 1 Pitt. Match time is slated for 7 p.m., at Ambrose Urbanic Field in Pittsburgh.
