WASHINGTON (September 27, 2024) – Howard University women's swimming & diving team took fourth overall at the annual Potomac Relays, hosted by American University.
Overall, the Bison scored 276 points through 18 events.
The 500 Free Relay squad of senior
Kelsey Roberson (West Orange, N.J.), junior
Zuilda Nwaeze (Columbia, Md.), sophomore
Jasmine Morgan (Chicago) and newcomer
Gabrielle Vickles (El Dorado, Trinidad & Tobago) highlighted the day, winning the race with a 4:41.87 mark.
The four Bison also competed in the 200 Free Relay, earning second place with a 1:38.08 time.
American and George Mason shared the 2024 Potomac Relays title, each tallying 314 points.
The next time Howard competes, they will host local rival Georgetown for the Battle at The Burr III Saturday (Oct. 5) at 1 p.m.
