Gregory Odom Jr. (Memphis, Tenn.) finished in the top 10 at the inaugural Bridgestone Collegiate Invitational, hosted by Central Michigan University. The two-day, 54-hole event took place at the Silverado Resort & Spa (par-72, 6,988 yards) in Napa, Calif.
Odom wrapped up the tournament shooting 2-under par (214), including a 68 (-4) in round two. Overall, the Memphis native tied for seventh in the player leaderboard.
Collectively, the Bison shot 35-over par (899) in 54 holes of action.
Graduate
Everett Whiten Jr. (Chesapeake, Va.) tied for 30
th, producing a 223 (+7) in three rounds, including back-to-back 74 strokes on Day One.
Brigham Young won the 2024 Bridgestone Collegiate Invite, finishing 12-under par (852). Cooper Jones led the Cougars, winning the individual medal with a 7-under par (209) performance. Sam Houston took second place after shooting 4-under par (860).
On March 28-30, Howard stays on the West Coast for The Goodwin, hosted by Stanford University in San Francisco.
