WASHINGTON (November 7, 2024) – The Howard University women's volleyball team looks to stay unbeaten in league play with another pair of Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) matchups. HU is set to play Morgan State (MSU) Friday (Nov. 8) at 6 p.m., on the road. Two days later (Nov. 10), the Lady Bison face Coppin State (CSU) at 3 p.m., in Baltimore

MATCHUP PREVIEW
HOWARD
HU (18-5, 11-0 MEAC) is riding a 12-match win streak, dating back to Sept. 29. Since the streak, Howard has lost only two sets, but remain unblemished during league play.
Third-year Bison
Leah Reeves (Allen, Texas) once again claimed MEAC Setter of the Week for the sixth consecutive week. She totaled 68 assists (11.3 per set), nine digs and four service aces during their previous matches against Delaware State (DSU) and Maryland Eastern Shore (UMES) this past weekend.
Senior outside hitter
Dami Awojobi (Hempstead, N.Y.) took home the league's Defensive Player of the Week for the third time this season. She averaged 10 kills, nine digs, and 2.5 blocks during their previous matches.
MORGAN STATE
MSU (6-19, 2-9 MEAC) is looking to maintain momentum after sweeping South Carolina State (SCSU) this past Sunday (Nov. 3).
Ainara Fernandes led the Lady Bears with 11 kills while Hannah Chappelle added 10 digs during their previous matchup versus SCSU.
COPPIN STATE
CSU (13-14, 9-2 MEAC) is looking to stay hot after winning, 3-1, against North Carolina Central (NCCU) Sunday (Nov. 3).
Ezgi Kucuk and TaKenya Stafford both lead the team with 18 kills apiece versus NCCU.
LAST TIMEOUT
In their previous matches, the Bison took care of business with back-to-back sweeps versus Delaware State (Nov. 1) and Maryland Eastern Shore (Nov. 3).
